I submitted an estimate request, now what? We have received your estimate request. Please allow Alex to reach out to you within 24 hours to contact you regarding your deck or fence needs.

Do I need to be home for someone from Stain Bros to look at the deck or fence? No, Alex does not require anyone to be home. We all have busy lives, and we try to swing by and measure to document the deck or fence. If you happen to be home that is great we can say hi, discuss the project in person. If you would like to meet us in person we can accommodate your schedule as well. We also can discuss the project over the phone to make sure we are on the same page.

How long until I receive my estimate? Usually we try to send out an estimate the day of site visit. Typically shoot for the same day estimates. Now, some estimates may take a few days for composite decks and major repairs. This is due to gathering material pricing from vendors.

Does Stain Bros offer financing? Yes we do. Please visit our Finance page from the menu at the top of the page. We work with Quickbooks Credit Karma which can offer up to 0% APR on financing your project needs. How do I pick a stain color or Composite Trex colors? When it comes to choosing staining colors, whether it is oil stains or solid colors. We have color charts we provide along with actual physical wood boards with the stain colors on them. This will help you make a decision on narrowing down a color you like. Trex Composite: We have a box of Trex composite samples of all sorts. We drop the box off for you to lay on the deck and decide which Trex Tier and color suits yours needs.

What is the process to stain, and how long does it take? Depending on a deck size, here is our breakdown: We come to pressure wash the deck. We will wash the railing, flooring, stars and anything that will be stained. We let the deck dry 24 hours depending on the weather and humidity. Second visit is to check the moisture content using our moisture meter to determine if the deck is ready to receive stain. Depending on the size railing and flooring may take additional day or two. Total typical deck should take 2-3 days to complete.

What is our process for composite Decking? We make it as simple for the homeowner as possible. We will drop off a box of Trex samples for you look at. We will measure the deck and railing, provide an estimate within a day or so what it will cost to replace your entire deck with composite and/or railing system. If at any point you want to move up a Tier in Trex and choose a better color, we will adjust the price. We have couple page paperwork for us to come to agreement for the scope of work. Down payment is required to secure the materials, once that is set the schedule us set as fast as possible. Once the projects starts depending on the size, it may take 1 day or 5 days for large projects.
